Dear President Bush, Senator's, U.S. Representatives :

I am writing about an area of great concern to me, and other's I have worked with, at RR Donnelly Bldg, Moore Wallace, in Breinigsville, in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
The area of concern, is the Spanish people taking over all the jobs at this large facility, and the whites and blacks are now being discriminated in employment. The leads that are Spanish, pick mostly Spanish people to come to the floor, and most work is offered to clique's. Many white and black people see the discrimination occurring; while there is no alternative, to be offered work; and, I mean work that offers good piece rate, in the kitting dept. , warehouse, or other work offers, that you can earn a respectable wage.

At this Corporation, many have witnessed higher wages being granted to Spanish, for the same job worked' and signed by a lead, or higher, boss.

I have been working with Staffmark Staffing Service until layoff, Friday December 14, 2007. The main reasons was, that the people who were not called to the floor, were paid for down-time, or either sent home early, etc., and the Spanish people being able to stay because, they were part of clique's being picked to work. There are also mandatory overtime to be worked, w/o any excuses being of acceptance. The strange thing, we employee's could not understand is that Staffmark had job orientation's a couple times per week, at our job site, and that they even had one the same week of layoff!

I am a veteran, and this company didn't do anything for me in regards to proper work offers. I know in there Staffmark handbook, there is something mentioned about Vietnam Era Veteran's; and I am wondering if Staffmark is a participant in government contract's?

What kind of job offers do we veteran's get? Does our service mean nothing? Plenty of good propaganda, and no serious job offer's!

My education is 1 1/2 yrs. Allentown Businesses School (72 Credit) Medical Transcription Diploma, and I am a certified E.M.T.

Another area of concern is that Career link offers good jobs to people over the age of 50; to find that it is a minimal wage job, with nothing to add to job experience or education. I ask what type of offer is this?

The American wage is shrinking, but everything keeps on getting higher, and all politician's write in wage increases, with good pension's, along with pay increases as well. Plain old citizen's do not get these increases in there pension's. We should be able to get these offers, in the private sector as well. I believe politician's should be subject to the same type of pensions as private citizen's without any increase, which is taking from the poor working citizen, to benefit the rich.

Again, I want to bring this to your attention:
to our Congress, and our beloved President's attention:

Is that there is another printing company on RT 512, in the industrial park; Bethlehem, in the Lehigh Valley, PA; a printing company that specializes in Spanish people being the majority, and we the minority. There is little to offer to white citizen's, staffed by A-1 temp. services, where other people and my daughter confirmed the same thing was happening at the corporation also .

What kind of government offers, are offered to these companies? We are surely outsourcing good American citizen's. People who pay taxes, etc. should also get good job offers; and if people are here on green card's, and do not pay taxes, they should not be able to get our hard earned tax monies, the American Citizen's contribute to this wonderful American Society.

I ask you? Do we offer all other immigrants' the same offer? Do we not have free Literacy classes and GED. service's for people to learn English as the second language?

Our forefather's came over to America, and English was learned by all, not to mention the Pennsylvania Dutch people having to learn English; and to see that our history and custom's are dying out, because of this.

I say keep America English, and offer classes etc., to these people to learn. Not to only offer bilingual job offers for Spanish speaking American's, and to find these jobs are referred to Spanish people the majority of the time.

Corporation's are now overworking people, offering no pension's any longer at newer companies, offering low wages, and having little or any good medical benefits, that we citizen's now have to co-pay; and to mention mandatory overtime, with points added to your attendance record with possible dismissal. Doctor's excuses are not being accepted as an excuse at these companies any longer and our bodies take the abuse; we are again, being over-worked, and are just another number, on a ticket to be punched, and thrown around, like a worthless peice of garbage.

If union's fail, I believe Congress should step to the plate, and see that working American's do not suffer with our bodies, and that a law should me made to accept Dr. excuses, and that people do not get point's to leave for an medical, or other necessary emergency in the family.

Alot of corporation's mandate mandatory overtime, with American families suffering because of having to work these shift's, or have no job; and our children suffer as the result of parental absence; as well as contributing to sweat shops again; and no good union's to back worker's.

We need troops deployed to protect our border with Mexico immediately. The mexican government is in the control of the drug cartels. Please do not send the Mexican government money, computer programs, helicopters, or any other supplies. They are not to be trusted. Please, President Bush, please send troops to patrol our borders and protect our citizens. 70 Americans have been kidnapped and killed in the last two years. That's more than the Iranians took in 1979. And yet the media has made calls to family member after family member after family member. Most of them won't come on television because they will say -- they will cry on the phone and say, "I can't, I've got other children, I've got to protect the rest of my family, I can't leave here. You don't know what it's like here." These are Americans in an American city. They pay their taxes and they deserve the protection of the United States government.
