People signing the "Drill in ANWR Petition" petition!

  1. My GOd our largest employer in the Mahoning Valley is the Austintown School District, what does that say about our area, looks alot like DEtroit and area Michigan. Our road are in disrepair, areas of vacant houses, vacant lots, 27 miles of open space where steel plants used to be. People moving out of the area, our tax rate is going up, less services, no fire dept.

UNION JOBS, drilling for oil, also make more different jobs, NOW

Drill here, drill now. Put everything on the table: drilling, nuclear, wind, solar, electric cars, water, shale oil, and "appropriate tire inflation", anything that will help us reduce our dependence on foreign oil. ANYONE who doesn't advocate for all possibilities, including drilling off the Florida Coast and the continental shelf, in ANWR, in the shale oil fields, building more refineries will not get my vote. So what if it takes a few years to get the oil from the gulf to market? If we had started it a few years ago, it would be here by now and we wouldn't be in quite the mess we're in. This needs to remain a national issue even if gas prices at the pump come down. The issue will no doubt return (Many of us remember the 70s gas crisis.), so make this a concerted effort to fix for all time.
    Union jobs wanted.
Oil JOBS are UNION jobs, great paying jobs, that also bring other great paying jobs to support, services, food, medical, construction, pipe companies, steel, banks, electrical, plumbing, lumber , oil production products and clothing, ect..

Mr. Rep, I was watching TV in YO last night, a woman was at a Food Center crying because she couldn't feed her children, now/today I'm watching TV to-night and a clean coal plants wants to move in the area and the Environmentalist are suing so the plant can't get a permits and start with jobs, great paying UNION jobs, when are you Democratic congressman going to do something about ECO-nuts abusing the laws to keep UNION and great paying jobs from moving in the area. Wasn't the mid-70's enough Closing our steel, and pipe mills, 27 miles of nothing, the Mahoning Valley of once steel mills, now paire land. Thanks to the EPA, and the environmentalist of the 70's. Jimmy Carter years.

WHY don't you people HELP us and our CHILDREN, for their FUTURE, STOP the ECO's from abusing laws or do you like watching woman crying because they can't feed their CHILDREN, do it for the CHILDREN..

Please pass laws that stop the environmentalist from suing to stop nuclear plants, clean coal plants.

2nd, Mr. Rep, D, OH; We demand you HELP us build, Nuclear Plants, Coal Plants, Wind Mill Plants add ones, Help Clean Coal technology, Build Clean coal Plants, Build Plants, industry, Tax breaks for Hybrid Technology and electric cars and trucks. HELP us give commercial and industrial tax breaks for solar energy us.

  3. When a major solution to a severe threat to our economic and national security lies LITERALLY beneath our feet, only the most dire of reasons should be given for NOT using it! No such reason has been presented. That "pristine" scenery shown in opposition videos was filmed far away from the drilling area, which, incidentally, is but 2000 acres out of the 19 million square miles of ANWR - or 164 parts in one billion!

How much longer can enviromaniacs be allowed to rule? Why are they and the broader American left almost apoplectic in their opposition to energy independence? Perhaps answering the second question first is most helpful, and I suspect it is based on their resentment of the power implied for the U.S.A. by such independence.

  5. Technology has made leaps and bounds since 1979. We have the ability to provide upto 735,000 jobs nation-wide. If we wait until Prudhoe Bay to reach its maximum, to start thinking about drilling in Alaska... where will we be. I fully support drilling on the 2,000 acres in ANWR. Wildlife won't be hurt in the least and the environment won't be destroyed as the opposition implies. Let the people of Kaktovik as well as the rest of the United States gain from this venture.

  7. I may not agree with all the sentiments expressed in conjunction with this petition, but I think it is highly anti-constitutional for our Federal government leaders not to take care of our own country AND IT'S PEOPLE, (as opposed to elevating plants and animals to equal status), and pave the way to tap into our vast resources that are ON OUR OWN LAND. If only for the security concerns of the U.S., which is part of the oath they took. The consumer benefits are just 'icing on the cake.'

  9. Please drill in the ANWR now.

Not using more of our own oil now is illogical. If we are not using it because it would be bad for us, then we should destroy it, not save it so future generations can harm themselves by using it. Use it or destroy it.

Not using more of our own oil now is dangerous. It makes it easier for other countries to mess with our economy, and it helps pay their expenses in doing so. And if they choose to war against us, it helps pay for that, too.

  13. Bill Clinton vetoed drilling in ANWR in 1994 because it would take too many years to get to it. Well, if he had signed it then, it would be flowing right now, and gas wouldn't be $4!! Please, help us excape foreign oil dependence. If we don't do it now, then 5 years from now we will be sorry.

The area of ANWR affected would only be a fraction of 1% of the total acreage. Well over 99% of the region would still be preserved. Let's use our common sense and drill. Not only there but offshore as well!

  15. With all due respect, Congressman Kenneday, please stop with the nonsense about suing OPEC, or holding hearings concerning speculators in the futures market. The appropriate course of action is to drill ANWR and drill off-shore and manufacture crude oil from shale in the Mountain states, and to do all of these actions, NOW!

  17. This should have happened back in the 1970's. But because of our "BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL" crooked, money hungry wimp ELECTED OFFICIALS and Environmentalists (The people who need to get a life.), we continue to be at the mercy of the very people in this world who would like nothing more than to see our GREAT COUNTRY collapse. We are not far away from that happening. The Middle East Countries, Russia, China, Mexico and on and on are systematically tearing our country apart. We are at the point that at any given moment, these hostile countries we depend on, could cut off the supply of oil and imports to our country and put our what used to be a great country into economic ruins.

  19. Is your elected Representative a
    Democrat Opposed to Petroleum Energy

or their Republician counter parts who have aligned themselves
to this economy wrecking policy. ROPEaDOPE
Republician Opposed to Petroleum Energy aligned with DOPEs

It is a Great Idea to develop Alternate forms of Energy. But the DOPES and ROPEaDOPEs are so out of touch with reality, that they don't realize our ECONOMY still runs on Petroleum Energy. These are your "LEADER's" of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
They are responsible for the CON in CONgress.
