As American citizens , we have grown very accustomed to our rights and Freedoms granted to us by the Constitution of the United States . We are in no hurry to give up any of those rights , but infringing on our very Freedom , as guaranteed by the 13th Amendment is more than unacceptable ! Charlie Rangel's National Service Act is a blatant violation of our right to protection against involuntary servitude . Americans should NEVER be forced by their government into participating in ANY service whether it be civil or military . For our United States Congress to even consider sending our youth to pseudo -indoctrination camps or to make what is now VOLUNTARY community service MANDATORY is an affront to our very liberties ! We demand that you put an end to Rangels' National Service Act , and any other bill that may come forward requiring Americans to give up their freedoms !NO to MANDATORY CIVIL SERVICE

    I don't think its so bad. I had to go into the military when I was 19 and it really improved me as a person.
