    In addition, anyone who is a felon should not be allowed to run for public office. How can it be that a person who is running to 'represent us' wouldn't even be allowed to vote themselves?

    How can the people be expected to respect and obey the laws of the United States when a "judge" decides the law can be ignored? The Constitution of the US states a president has to be a natural born citizen-Barak Obama must fit that qualification otherwise we could have serious ramifications in the future should he become president. We, "the people" and citizens of these United States demand the truth...we have, or should have, the right to question Obama concerning this!

    This is the most unlawful and outrageous act our congress could impose on our nation. That means anyone from any foreign country could come here and take over our country and change it into a communist or socialist nation and we would be doomed. Could this be the change some are running for office now??? The voters of this country should have the legal authority to demand that the political candidates provide proof of their eligibility to run for office based on the requirement of the U.S. Constitution. Where is the freedom in our country???? It seems those born here have less voice than those who come here from foreign places.

    This is totally outrageous that a federal judge says that the citizens of this country do not have the right to see that a nominee for President of the United States has been properly vetted and he has proven that he is a natural born citizen of the United States.

    Why did I have to show my proof to join the US Navy and to inroll for my retirement with the State of Missouri and again with the University of Missouri. Better yet go get your drivers permit renewed ...SHOW birth certificate first( with seal)YET Obama is NOT required to show proof with SEAL? GO FIGURE!!!!

    Yes, the American people have the right to know the eligibility of any one who wants to be their president. Is that too hard for any one who thinks he/she is capable to be a president of this great country? If the answer is yes, it's easy. Thus, she/he has to submit their eligibility, disclose any evidence needed related to the issue without any investigation needed. If the answer to this is no/not easy, thus, he/she is not somebody worth the trust of the American people. And, if the media or any judge are not going to do anything on this issue, than, we need to express our deep sympathy to our democracy. Our media as well as our democracy are in serious illness!

    Check identification cards at the polls. All early votes in states that do not require picture ID should be held out as provisional and verified prior to counting. Absentee ballots should also be verified prior to counting. This is critical because a lot of those registered and taken to the polls by ACORN workers have already voted. Many of the fraudulent votes are suspected to be via absentee ballots. Obama is quite the deceitful person and is dangerous enough not in the white house. We don't need fake people putting him there either..

    Hillary Clinton knows as well as I do how incredibly dangerous Obama/Biden will be. Unfortunately, I cannot support you in backing Obama. As a former Hillary supporter I am proud to say I now support McCain/Palin- 08. The reason is primarily because the Democratic Party has changed so much since the start of the primary season in 2007 and all the "boys" ganged up to beat you, they no longer represent my ideas/ideals/beliefs as a "US" citizen. Admittedly, the Republican Party does not represent all of them either, but I can honestly say Senator McCain and Sarah Palin do not scare me and Obama/Biden really scares the heck out of me. So, for now and the foreseeable future, I will be re-registering as an Independent and voting Republican for President. I pray that America see's the light before November 4th.

    Americans have the right to know if candidates for the office of President qualify under the criteria outlined in our Constitution. The American voters therefore are fully entitled to have "standing" to demand that candidates provide proof of their eligibility to run for POTUS.
