  1. We have to make big changes now. We cannot allow our young people to join the service thinking they are aiding their nation or anothers when in fact they are only targets for gangs and bullies to kill within their own ranks of fellow recruits, troops and Veterans. This is widely known among the highest of military officers, our administration and every official in Congress and throughout our country. Yet NOTHING is being to done about it!

  3. I can't seem to get over the whole idea of our serve people killing each other. My husband and father-in-law were both Marines and my father was in the Air Force. They all concur that this is a whole different military service than what they experienced. It just seems as though the recruiters are so hard up to get anyone anymore that they turn the "filter" off and ignore all the "signs" of abnormalities. My son was killed by 2 Marines in 2008 and if he wasn't found off base I would have never have learned the whole truths.
God Bless to all who have loved ones serving our country. That's all my son wanted to doand I was proud of him for that!

  5. Our Government needs to provide all the help these our Military Personal needs. The rest of the USA People need to give them our support and not treat them they way the American Government and People did during Vietnam. The Soldiers are the reason we even have access to the internet to sign this petition!!!

  7. The families of our murdered soldiers have every right to know the details of their loved one's demise; even if they'd rather not know, the information should be available to them. If our military branches want the best soldiers and sailors in the world, then they need to raise their screening standards so we wouldn't have to sign petitions like these.

  9. I am currently helping a family try to bring closure to those responsible for the murder of their 24 yr old son upon his return from his second tour of duty. The military has closed the investigation stating "No one wants to talk". I'm sure in the real world that explanation would not be acceptable.

  17. Truth matters! The first casualty of war is the truth. A man that does not hold the truth as a part of his core being can not be a man of honor. Without the character to know what is right and do what is right, there can be no honor. It would be a pleasant surprise to see politicians be honorable and do the right thing.

  23. The Military should not sacrifice quality for quantity. As a current servicemember, I would much rather have only a few troops, of high caliber and hard work ethic than 100,000 lazy gangbangers and sociopaths. Recruiters need to think less about themselves and their quotas, and more about the people (and their dark pasts) who they put in a uniform with a rifle and send off to a foriegn land. When you start to see "crips" signs sprayed on the walls of buildings in Baghdad, you know something is not right. God Bless America and God Bless Our Military. My heart goes out to all of the families who have lost someone.

  31. I am an Air Force brat. My father is a Vietnam Veteran. Of all the hazards that he faced in his time in the military, his fellow soldiers wouldn't have been one that I would have thought to worry about. This subject seems to be buried. Thank you for all your work to keep our soldiers safe and healthy.

  33. Our military was the reason this county exists and in recent years it has been placed in the background as a necessary evil. The men and women serving today face far more traumatic exposure with less coping tools. We need to ensure that our military receives all the necessary support to remain the forces that will keep the United States of Amercia the greatest nation in the history of the world. Please do your part to make it so.

  37. This is the sorry result of a poorly-planned operation, rotting from the top down. The program of multiple deployments is a recipe for breakdown of key personnel, weakening critical operations eventually. The responsibility goes to the instigator(s) of an illegal invasion of a sovereign state that was no threat to us here. The murderers are now out of office and still thumbing their noses at the People, even appearing on the media disparaging our present government for not doing the same things they did! Prosecute the entire Bush/Cheney criminal conspiracy and their enablers for murder.
