Another job killer by Congress. Has anyone in leadership of House and Senate run a business, paid a payroll, invested in productive endeavors despite the risk involved?
If so, they have not learned a thing, or just don't care--probably both.

Unfair taxes is what brought this country to being and it looks like unfair taxes will be it's undoing. Just quit spending what you don't have and quit taxing us to death!

How about you stabilize the value of our currency by reinstating the gold standard and ending the FED. Governments destroy wealth they create nothing and produce nothing. Obey the Constitution and Bill of Rights and cut/eliminate taxes don't create new ones!!!!

If this is passed the little guy suffers. I trade 4-5 times per month to try to make $100 on small trades, this bill puts the end to that. Maybe we should just go on the government "dole-out" like so many others. Talk about killing the American Dream!

This bill would effectively put my small boutique trend following shop out of business. I did not make the bad decisions on Wall Street, but somehow seem to continue to be in the cross hairs of every idiot who want to raise taxes.
Pass this bill and I will see you never get another term in office.

Please stop this bill. It is patently unfair to anyone who tries to make their money work for them. You are crushing the middle class by continually finding ways to take another bite of their assets. Unless it is your intent to make everyone a ward of the state by confiscating all wealth, this is an incredibly foolish piece of legislation.

Day traders are already taxed, it is called capital gains tax, thus adding yet another tax will prevent day traders from trading, leading to a loss in market liquidity.

I just started trading stocks about a year ago, and took control of my 457B because of the boondogle mess allowed to happen by Big Brother Government. I don't find it at all amusing that now Big Brother gov't wants to tax me on my investments. I paid for my investment education and am just now starting to understand trading after abouit 1 1/2 years, and have risked my $$ to do so. I find it ironic that Big Brother Gov't was willing to bail out the jerks that got me and every other average investor who had their $$ in mutual funds through their employer's, and now wants to tax the same individual investor for taking control of their own investment vehicles. There are way too many YES men/women in gov't with banking lobbist w/hands in pockets. I don't need Big Brother gov't hands in my POCKETS. I am already paying!!!!!!1
