    I demand to know who paid for the speed reader for Waxman's gang. I also want you to explain to me why we had Global Cooling in the 70's and now we have Global Warming. Senator Kyl need not reply as he has replied already. Senator McCain needs to wake up and stop being a Progressive.

    • It was a degrading moment to watch a speedreader read the cap-and-trade bill to claim you guys read the bill. There is no way the content was absorbed and understood. The point of having to read a bill is to understand it and way the pros and cons. The way this was handled was not professional, nor in the mind of the people you are representing.
    • I am getting very suspicious about the way you push bills, without understanding and reading the content and weighing the consequences for this country.
    • Congressman Henry Waxman's OWN Cap and Trade Energy Bill is just so big that he does not know what is in the bill( as per his own words) , he relies on the scientists of IPCC. The IPCC is a scientific intergovernmental body set up by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Waxman relies on information given to him by a NON AMERICAN company and then he does not even know the content. BUT you all would vote on a subject which will cost a fortune to the country, as well as the PEOPLE of the country. The tax burden of the single person will be unbearable. Job lost due to his bill will be strongly out number jobs gained. The bill includes 3 year of unemployment benefits, health benefits ,etc for anybody loosing a job due to the bill. DID YOU do some home work and calculate the amount of money which would this bill cost?????
    • This is a very dangerous path to go.
    • I like to know who paid for the speedreader, since he was not hired by us, I sure hope it was not tax payer money.
    • You, as representatives of us, The People, are not doing your job. As a business owner, I fire my employees, when they don't do their job. It is time to think about that.
    • I also request the cap and trade bill will be stopped and rejected right now and read in a normal manner by each person involved, costs now and in the future due to job losses, taxation, etc calculated, then make a decision about this matter!

    Dear Representative Boswell,

    I am writing to strongly urge you to VOTE NO on Cap and Trade. Have you even read the 300 page addendum that was added yesterday? This bill will be death to the American economy in general and rural Iowa in particular. I cannot, in good conscience, vote for any representative who votes for this bill. Our children's future depends on defeating this monstrously bad legislation.

    I know that my letter won't make a difference to all of you in Washington because you are hell bent on putting it to the American people.
