We the people of the United States of America...

...Demand that every member of Congress be held to the same standards as we are! We demand that you comply with all of the existing laws of our nation just as we do!

...Hereby notify Congress that you work for the American Taxpayer and you do not have the right to vote yourself a pay raise, ever. As you employer, we will decide when and if you get a pay raise.

...Demand that from this day forward, all members of Congress will immediately pay into the social security system as required by the American People. You pass laws regarding social security, perhaps, you will use due care if you have an investment at stake just like the rest of us.

...Demand that from this day forward, all members of Congress will pay their own insurance (health, dental, vision, auto, life, home, everything) premiums. If it's good enough for the American People--it should be good enough for the people elected to represent us. You pass laws affecting the cost of insurance, perhaps, you'll use due care if you have an investment at stake just like the rest of us.

...Demand that all pensions and benefits stop immediately! You are an elected official not an elitist. You are not entitled to anything other than your generous salary and reimbursement for travel and expenses relating to your job. You are not entitled to personal travel for you or your family at the taxpayers' expense. You are not entitled to the use of a Gulfstream Jet! If you require additional financial security for your retirement”other than social security program's time you invest your own money and not ours in it.

...Demand that every member of Congress who voted for the stimulus bill without READING it first resign, immediately! You were elected to represent the voice of the American People. By voting on a bill without reading it you have violated the public trust. You position in Congress is a fiduciary relationship with the American People, which holds you to a higher standard under the law. Furthermore, by voting on a bill without READING it you are guilty of gross misconduct and therefore you are not entitled to any further compensation or benefits including but not limited to: a separation package, insurance premiums, and/or pension accounts and your services are no longer needed. We find you to be negligent and incompetent. Our confidence in your ability to fulfill your duties is gone and we are not going to tolerate this behavior anymore.

We are the American People and this is our country! These are the terms required to serve as an elected official in OUR country. These terms are not negotiable! Should you find these terms to be unreasonable or if you are unable to comply with any of these terms”then we will gladly accept your resignation with gratitude for your public serve.     The only elected officials that serve the
    public witout pay are school board directors.
    And the stste legislators would love to get rid of them.

    Remember my fellow countrymen that these officials work for the governed. That is what America was founded upon! It is time to take America back! If your congressman has forgotten you as a constituent, then it's high time he or she be voted out!

    I expect every one of you to read and follow our Constitution and Bill of Rights to learn exactly what your job description is. It is not forcing energy bills at us, it is not forcing nationalized healthcare at us and it is not forcing union joining bills at us. Remember work for us, not against us.
