    This is a must! How are you going to know what is in the bills/legistation unless you /we the people have a chance to read the item.
    I think it wise to add "allow 1 day per 500 pages to allow the reading of the complete bill/legistation.

    Speed reading DOES NOT COUNT. It's comprehension that matters. Just remember, if you use this as your ploy, when it hits the fan with the voters, you can't say, "I didn't know". Read the bill for yourself. You and your own staffers should take sections and make notes, then come together at the finish and put it all together. If you're going to write these ridiculously long bills, this is what it will take: REAL EFFORT ON YOUR PART! This is the future you're compromising. OUR futures.     Americans are not stupid, we know that they are playing games with that speed reading bull. WE PAY THEM TO WORK FOR US....THEY ARE OUR EMPLOYEES.Just imagine if all business were run like they are running America.. all business would go broke if the employees only pleased themseles.

    I cannot believe that Congress would pass anything without reading it first. The people should have a say before anything is passed. What has happened to COMMON SENSE? Would any member of Congress spend their own money as they do the American People.

    This is like talking to a kindergarden child. Would any member of CONGRESS sign a personal note on their bank account for anyone to withdraw funds, without knowing the facts, WITHOUT READING THE DOCUMENT. WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE. HAS EVERYONE GOT BRAIN DAMAGE. You have been in office too, too long. YOU DRAW YOUR FREE MONEY, PUT YOUSELF IN OUT PLACE. WE HAVE TO WORK TO PAY THE TAXES TO PAY YOU. WITHOUT JOBS THERE WILL BE NO MONEY. THINK PEOPLE. YOU WERE VOTED IN, YOU CAN BE VOTED OUT. I NEVR WORRIED THIS MUCH, UNTIL I BECAME AWARE THAT WE HAVE LAZY PEOPLE IN OFFICE. LAZY AND GREEDY, I AM ASHAMED OF THE PEOPLE BUT NOT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. YOU CAN BE REPLACED AND GOD WILL BLESS OUR COUNTRY AGAIN. WE MUST REPLACE THE SLACK, AND PUT NEW BLOOD IN OFFICE, THINK AND READ THE BILLS, CONSULT WITH THE PEOPLE THAT PUT YOU IN OFFICE. THIS IS JOKE TO THE OTHER COUNTRIES, THE THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES KNOW BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE NOW IN OFFICE.
