We The People of the United States of America, want our elected members of congress (house and senate) to pass the following law immediately!

1) No bill will be eligible for a vote until it has been READ by every single member of the house and senate.

2) No bill will be eligible for a vote until the American people have had five (5) business days to review and comment on it.

3) All spending items must include the name of the contributor, the amount of the expenditure, who benefits, and why it's an important expense.

    I cannot believe that Congress would pass anything without reading it first. The people should have a say before anything is passed. What has happened to COMMON SENSE? Would any member of Congress spend their own money as they do the American People.

    Americans are not stupid, we know that they are playing games with that speed reading bull. WE PAY THEM TO WORK FOR US....THEY ARE OUR EMPLOYEES.Just imagine if all business were run like they are running America.. all business would go broke if the employees only pleased themseles.

    Speed reading DOES NOT COUNT. It's comprehension that matters. Just remember, if you use this as your ploy, when it hits the fan with the voters, you can't say, "I didn't know". Read the bill for yourself. You and your own staffers should take sections and make notes, then come together at the finish and put it all together. If you're going to write these ridiculously long bills, this is what it will take: REAL EFFORT ON YOUR PART! This is the future you're compromising. OUR futures. You owe us far more than we're getting, and I don't mean in "free money".

    Stop being Obama's pawn and take care of the people who put their trust in you. We CANNOT afford the Cap & Trade Bill. I promise you will lose my vote and many others if this bill goes through.

    There has to be accountability in Congress! It is NOT their money. The taxpayer must have a say in how their hard-earned dollars are spent!
