Suggested Discussion Topics
| Oppose a government takeover of healthcare! -No Government Plan: American's can't afford the trillions of dollars in new taxes that would be required to pay for Obamacare. -No Individual Mandate: Forcing people to buy insurance and then fining them or even putting them in jail if they don't is wrong. -No Tax Hikes: Tax increases to pay for a new government program will only slow economic recovery and keep unemployment high. -A vote for cloture = a vote for government-run health care. Representative Gonzalez does not make any apologies for voting FOR this new Healthcare Bill. I find that MOST disturbing. I feel that he is not looking at how the Bill affects the ENTIRE community ... just the ones that vote FOR him. I found his response to my attempt to contact him most offensive and condescending.Call Report for Rep. Charles A. Gonzalez (D TX-20)

Plans to vote yes to motion to proceed. I registered my protest: cost, govt. intrusion, unconstitutional, unpopular. I prefer the reforms we could get with minimal cost (portability, tort reform, increased competition across state lines with private sector insurance, etc.Call Report for Sen. James H.
