Write a Letter to Congress : 812 Letters Sent So Far

Dear Representative:
Congressman Broun has introduced H.R.1621, a bill that would deny federal funds to any State or local educational agency that has a policy that permits the Pledge of Allegiance or the National Anthem to be recited or sung in any language other than English in any elementary school or secondary school under its jurisdiction.

I have been amazed that it has taken so long for somebody to stand up to protect our nation’s symbols of unity and allegiance to country against those who either have no respect for America’s culture and traditions, or cannot grasp the importance such rituals have on our nation.

The American people are united, not by race, ancestry, or origin, but by our common language. As one of your constituents, I urge you to become a cosponsor to H.R.1621 and work with those interested in reuniting America behind our common language English.
Thank you,
