Contact your Representative to support H.R.1588, the Common Sense English Act

Representative Price has introduced a bill, H.R.1588, which reaffirms an employer’s right to require employees to speak English while they are actually engaged in work. It doesn’t impose any language restrictions at any other time.

In the opinion of many experts, using a common language in the workplace can prevent injuries while creating a more harmonious and productive workplace.

In these times of economic crisis, the last thing an employer needs is to have government bureaucrats micro-managing his or her workplace. H.R.1588 provides business owners protection from such unwarranted intrusions.
