I'm 66 years old. I cannot afford the increased cost of electricity. You already know who will get the passthrough. This is just another tax on those who can least afford it.

NO CAP AND TRADE. The majority of the people in Eastern Kentucky make their living from coal mining. If coal mining is done away with alot of peple will be dependant on state help and the state won't be able to help them because the coal taxes will be gone. I also believe that robberies will increase because the people will rob to feed their families. Deaths because the ones that have things will kill to keep them. Illegal drug activity will increase as well. People will do whatever it takes to take care of their families.

NO CAP AND TRADE. Don't take the jobs away from the people. Coal gives us electricity. Without electricity we wouldn't have lights, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, computers, television or alot of other things that we need to survive or things we enjoy.

People get real. Coal mining keeps our lights and electricity keeps works alot of other things that we take for granted. Without the coal the electricity will be so high that alot of us can't afford to keep it. Anyone that is against the coal miners, especially the ones from Kentucky, should be ashamed of themselves because caol mining is most likely what kept food on their table and a roof over their heads. Not only does the coal keep the lights on think about all the people that would lose their jobs and their families that would be starving.

This bill is another part of the Obama agenda. It has been shown that climategate is a hoax. Now it is MSHA's mission to stop coal with un-proven and un-needed laws and regulations. It is no longer about safety but about taking taking the US mining companies out of a competitive market.

We have seen the actual temperature data and there is no correlation between carbon and global warming. Stop scamming the poor in America who will have be most affected by such a tax.

Fossil fuel through out the country will be hurt drastically. The change from coal and/or oil needs to be done gracefully while increasing other alternatives. Without putting added tax on any industry that heats, cools and provides all of us the life styles we are use to having.
NO CAP AND TAX! TALK ABOUT AWAY TO PUT US ALL IN AN ECONOMICAL DISASTER!

Much like your health care bills, cap and trade is another smoke screen for a power grab. You can fool the uniformed but you can't fool all of us!
