As a citizen of Aberdeen, South Dakota I believe it to be unfair to expect myself and others like me to buy an expensive permit to enjoy the fishing and recreation opportunities that South Dakkota has to offer. I already license my boat, the trailer that it rides on and the vehicle that I tow it with. I also have to buy a South Dakota fishing license to enjoy our states great fishing. I believe that the commercial shippers that bring these exotic invaders into our great lakes and coastal harbors should be the ones paying for the damages that they are causing and not the everyday citizens that are recreating on our waters. Let the cost causers pay the costs of keeping our waters safe from exotic species.
