As a loyal repuplican (when republicans are conservative) and a supporter of smaller government I ask that you please support this bill to keep the EPA out of our private recreation.
Thank you.

I am a recreational boater, Illinois has Lake Michigan. You must support our recreational boaters, What is your position on this, Do we have your support ? Please support S.2766 with your strong support and organize your fellow senators for their support also. And the H.R. 5949 bill.
What about Obama ? Where is his support, Or has he quite being a senator while he runs for the presidency ?
Have not heard a peep from Durbin ? Is he just collecting a check and not working to represent us in Illinois?
What about Weller ? or has he already quite representing us in Illinois ?

Thanks for supporting this legislation. This is very important to the recreational boaters of Georgia and the US.
What can I do to get Senator Murkowski to remove her oppostiion to the bill? How can one person stop this much needed relief bill?

More of the same BULL SHIT FROM OUR ILLUSTRIOUS NATION CAPITAL. TO ATTACH THE RECREATIONAL BOATER MANDATE FOR CLEAN WATER TO THE MANDATE FOR SHIPS BRACKISH WATER CONTROL IS MORE P[ROOF OF WHAT IS INHERENTLY WRONG WITH OUR CURRENT POLITICAL SYSTEM. I HAVE BEEN A RECREATIONAL BOATER FOR 20 YEARS AND I CAN ATTEST TO THE CARING OF ALMOST ALL BOATERS. AS A GROUP WE DO NOT THROW CIG BUTTS ON THE WATER AS MANY DO ON THE STREETS. THE DEDICATED BOATERS KEEP THEIR BOATS IMMACULATE. THEY DO NOT POLUTE.......... THEY ARE CONCENTIOUS ABOUT WASTE BACK TO THE SHORE OR MARINA. WHEN YOU DECIDE TO SWIM YOU WANT THE LAKE, RIVER, SHORE AREAS CLEAN AND SANITARY. THIS ATTACHMENT AGAINST RECREATIONAL BOATERS THT HAS BEEN ATTACHED TO THE BRACKISH WATER CLEAN UP OF SHIPS WATERS IS WRONG, DECEITFUL, ILL INTENDED, AND ALMOST FOR SURE ILLEGAL. LETS WAKE UP TODAY AND PUT A STOP TO THIS IDIOCY.......................

I am a sailor and committed to keeping our waterways clean. To this end I firmly believe in the use of holding tanks for waste, but to charge for water run-off, and bilge water is nonsense. Please pass this bill and maintain sanity, keeping things in perspective.

Please co-sponsor S.2766 or H.R. 5949, identical bills known as the "Clean Boating Act of 2008" before 9/15/2008 so 13 million boat owners do not have to pay for needless EPA Permits. These permits could spell doom for the recreational boating industry, cost thousands of jobs, and add a needless burden to boaters. My boat does not even have a head or discharge bilge water at sea.

High fuel costs are already negatively affecting recreational boating, let's not add to that problem by imposing more unnecessary and unreasonable barriers to water access!
